I'm a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a passion for helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and PTSD. I take a direct, participatory, and holistic approach — meaning I meet you where you are and work with you, not just for you. I offer virtual care so that quality mental health support is accessible no matter where you are.
Hello! I'm a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner serving individuals of all ages throughout Wisconsin. I believe mental health care should feel approachable, supportive, and free from judgment. Whether you're seeking help for the first time or returning to care, my goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself and discussing what's on your mind.
About Me
I am a dual-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than 30 years of experience in healthcare. For over a decade, I have had the privilege of serving the Manitowoc and Sheboygan communities through Lakeshore Community Health, now Noble Community Clinics, providing comprehensive care in both primary care and behavioral health settings.
My clinical passion lies in helping individuals struggling with mental health conditions, substance use disorders, and the effects of trauma. I have extensive experience providing Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), including Suboxone and Vivitrol, and I am committed to supporting patients through recovery with a compassionate, structured, and evidence-based approach.
I believe healthcare should focus on the whole person—not just symptoms or diagnoses. Physical health, mental wellness, emotional well-being, lifestyle habits, and environmental factors all play an important role in overall health. My goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered to take an active role in their care.
As the founder of Mind & Body Renew, I combine traditional medicine with functional and integrative approaches to help identify and address the root causes of illness. I am passionate about partnering with patients to create individualized treatment plans that promote healing, long-term wellness, and a better quality of life.
Originally from Texas, I moved to Wisconsin in 1999 after my marriage and have proudly called this community home ever since. My husband and I have raised four wonderful children and are blessed with nine grandchildren who bring tremendous joy to our lives. When I am not caring for patients, I enjoy spending time with family, traveling, and spoiling our two beloved fur babies.
I look forward to partnering with you on your journey toward better health, healing, and renewal.

Find the right psychiatrist for you
Headway makes it easy to find support for your mental health — from finding the right provider, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.
Factors to Consider When Choosing a Therapist in Kenosha
Finding the right psychiatrists in Kenosha starts with understanding the type of mental health care you need. Psychiatrists and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners can diagnose mental health conditions, prescribe medication, and manage psychiatric care. Therapists focus on talk therapy and support. If you’re looking for help with anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, OCD, or medication management, reviewing a psychiatrist’s listed specialties can help you find someone whose training fits your needs.
In a smaller city like Kenosha, local psychiatry options may be more limited than in larger Wisconsin markets. Virtual appointments can expand your choices while still giving you access to licensed psychiatrists who fit your schedule and preferences. As you compare options, look at appointment availability, whether the psychiatrist is accepting new patients, and whether they offer a free phone consultation. Reading bios can also help you understand each psychiatrist’s approach, communication style, and experience with your concerns before you book.
Psychiatric care in Kenosha can be a significant expense without insurance. Using in-network insurance is one of the most reliable ways to lower your out-of-pocket cost. Headway helps you review psychiatrists who match your needs and are accepting new patients, and you can enter your insurance details to confirm whether a specific provider accepts your plan. You can enter your insurance details to see an estimated session cost before booking, then review profiles and book directly when you’re ready.
If you're already taking psychiatric medication and considering switching providers, talk to your current prescriber before changing or stopping any medication — most psychiatric medications shouldn't be stopped abruptly. Anyone experiencing thoughts of self-harm or in acute crisis should call 988 or go to the nearest emergency department rather than wait for an outpatient appointment.
