She earned her MSN as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Spring Arbor University in 2021 and her PMHNP Graduate Certificate from the University of Toledo in 2022. At NewHeart Mental Health and Wellness in Oak Harbor, Ohio, she delivers in person and remote outpatient psychiatry and addiction treatment for adults and children across the entire lifespan. She also provides inpatient psychiatric care at a behavioral health hospital.

My path to psychiatry began with a simple observation: mental health needs are everywhere, yet not enough people have access to care. After five years as a family nurse practitioner, I made the move to psychiatric care because I wanted to be part of the solution.
