Before becoming a nurse practitioner, I worked across a variety of settings, including medical-surgical and specialty units at a Level I trauma center, COVID-19 units, burn and reconstructive care, correctional nursing, and hospice. During my advanced practice training, I gained experience in inpatient psychiatry, psychiatric emergency services, PHP/IOP, addiction treatment, and community-based care, and participated in a medical mission trip to Oaxaca, Mexico.
