I'm Miluska, a LICSW based in Massachussetts. I have a Masters in Social Work from Simmons College and have been practicing clinically for over 20 years. I have signifcant experience in helping people through difficulties in their personal and profressional relationships, life transitions, or dealing with depression, anxiety, and emotional challenges.
Welcome! I provide individual therapy for college/ graduate students, professionals, and adults navigating anxiety, OCD, trauma, crises of meaning, and the deeper questions that arise in times of uncertainty. Many of my clients come in feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected- from themselves, others, or a clear sense of purpose. Our work together explores not just symptom relief, but what it means to live more fully and authentically. Together, we reconnect with your values, develop practical skills for navigating life's challenges, and explore the deeper patterns and past experiences that may be shaping your present.
I am a licensed clinical psychologist with nearly 20 years of experience and particular expertise in trauma, anxiety, depression, and culturally responsive care. I received my doctorate degree at William James and my Masters at Boston College. My professional work has included working as a school-based clinician, and working at Boston Children’s Hospital, disseminating national trainings on best practices for providing trauma-informed, culturally responsive mental health care to immigrants and refugees. I use evidence-based therapies while making space to explore identity, relationships, family, and culture. I especially enjoy working with young adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships, life transitions, and questions of identity or belonging. I have particular interest in working with first-generation immigrants and people balancing different cultural or family expectations while figuring out who they are and what they want. Therapy offers a nonjudgmental space to talk openly, understand yourself and your patterns more deeply, and find ways to move forward that feel right for you.
My clinical degree is a Master of Science in Social Administration (MSSA, MSW equivalent) from Case Western Reserve in Cleveland, Ohio (2016). I completed my Master of Education in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) from University of Cincinnati (2016), and have experience as a provider of ABA services. I have a Doctorate in Behavioral Health from Arizona State University(2020).
I believe meaningful change often begins with feeling deeply understood. I am deeply attentive to the hidden, stigmatized or exiled forms of emotion that leave people carrying their pain in isolation. In our work, I strive to cultivate a compassionate space where you can safely connect with and speak the truth of your emotional experience.
I bring curiosity, intuition, compassion, and humor into the therapy room. I won’t tell you who you should be or what your life should look like. Instead, I’ll help you understand yourself more deeply, recognize what may no longer be serving you, and identify changes that feel meaningful and authentic to you.
I especially enjoy working with women and with people navigating life transitions, relationships, identity, grief and loss, or a sense of feeling stuck. I’m particularly drawn to working with people who are ready to look inward, challenge old patterns, and create meaningful change in their lives.
If something feels off, heavy, or stuck, you're in the right place. I work with people navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship stress, body image, emotional eating, addiction recovery, and major life changes including perimenopause and menopause. Together we build practical tools and self-compassion that create meaningful, lasting change. I'd love to help you figure out what's next.
If you’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed, depressed, stuck, or worn down by stress, trauma, relationships, or health concerns, therapy can help you find a clearer path forward. I’m a licensed psychologist who works with adults, with clinical and academic experience at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. My style is warm, practical, and evidence-based, while always tailored to you as a person.
