I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker educated at Loyola University Chicago. I use a variety of techniques in my practice and am experienced in helping individuals living with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, mood disorders, and thought disorders.
Hello and Welcome! Please visit www.spartancounseling.com for more information, scheduling a free consultation, and questions. I do not schedule through the Headway platform as Headway only serves a portion of my client base. My availability listed on Headway is not accurate.
I'm a social worker with over a decade of fieldwork with various populations in numerous settings. My breadth of experience affords me special insight into and a deep passion for infertility, perinatal and postpartum struggles, chronic illness, and military life. Working together is mutually beneficial: I get to put years of schooling and experience into practice, and you get to work towards improved overall wellness.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Temple University and my Master of Social Work from Indiana University. With over 10 years of experience, I support individuals in managing anxiety, navigating depression, and healing from past trauma.
My approach blends evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness with a spiritually grounded perspective. While therapy is rooted in clinical skill, I also create space for deeper connection—often integrating spiritual awareness into the work for those who are open to it. I believe healing is not just mental, but also deeply internal and, at times, spiritual.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 30 over 30 years of experience in the mental health field and have worked with clients at all ages of the lifespan. I earned my Master of Social Work degree from Indiana University. I am licensed to practice in the states of Florida, Arizona, Indiana, Missouri and Alabama.
I help adults break free from the weight of trauma and rebuild a sense of strength, clarity, and control. My background includes working in inpatient, partial hospitalization, and university settings, where I supported people facing trauma, crisis, and complex emotional struggles. I’ve run trauma processing groups for sexual assault survivors, provided therapy in a hospital program for teens and adults, and completed psychological evaluations for adults and older adults. These experiences shaped my calm, steady, trauma-informed approach and the way I show up for adults who are ready to heal.
