You’ve been carrying a lot on your own for a long time. On the outside you seem like you’re holding it together, but inside you might feel anxious, low, overwhelmed, or weighed down by past experiences and current stress. I’m Amanda, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and EMDR-trained therapist, and I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, major life transitions, and relationship challenges. You don’t need the “right” words or a polished story here—my goal is to offer a warm, grounded space where you feel safe, respected, and truly heard so we can make sense of what’s happening and help you feel more steady and hopeful.
I work with individuals, couples, and families facing relationship strain, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, and family conflict. I was born and raised in one of Nigeria’s vibrant and bustling cities, where I learned the values of community, resilience, and compassion from an early age. Inspired by a deep desire to make a difference in people’s lives, I pursued my education in health care. This journey has been a blessing and a privilege, allowing me to work in health care and provide care for the people I love and serve.
My family and I have built a home filled with love and laughter. They bring joy and inspiration to my life every day. I'm excited to support my clients in bringing that same love and joy and laughter back into their own lives.
