I will meet you where you are. I will do my best to help you feel comfortable, safe, and at ease. There is no judgement.
My mission is to normalize individual and couple’s therapy to help people live more vulnerable, happier, and fulfilled lives. My hope is to help people discover their worth and understand themselves better as emotional beings to be able to create the safety and beauty in their world that they desire. Humor and vulnerability have a place in every session with me; I personally aspire towards more balance always and support my clients to move towards a more balanced life.
Working with Adults, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado. I offer over six years of experience providing individual and group therapies benefiting clients by relieving symptoms of anxiety, depression, trauma and obsessive patterns in private practice and community mental health setting. I earned a Master of Arts at Adams State University in Community Counseling.
Reaching out for help takes courage, and I'm glad you're here. Whether you're working through substance use, the aftermath of trauma, anger that feels hard to manage, or stress that's spilling into your family life, you don't have to figure it out alone. I've spent my career helping adults find their footing again, and I'd be honored to help you do the same.
Along the way I've trained in addiction recovery, trauma and abuse therapy, EMDR (Levels I and II), and Motivational Interviewing. I've also helped build intensive residential and outpatient treatment programs, and I train and supervise other clinicians in Colorado. What that means for you is experience you can lean on, with a person who treats you as a person, not a diagnosis.
I believe in a holistic focused approach to therapy. I incorporate mind, body and spirit to achieve a regulated emotional state and balance in one's life. I believe that client's are the experts in their own life and I have a variety of therapeutic techniques in my toolbox to accommodate each individual to find their unique healing path.
I specialize in emotional support for teenagers, young adults and adults who are struggling with trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and life transitions. I support clients in developing a clear identity and understanding of their personal story, purpose and self-worth. I specialize in women in pregnancy, postpartum, and post termination.
If you are looking for support I would love to hear from you.
