I am a licensed independent Marriage and Family Therapist in both the states of Ohio and California. In 2012, I received my graduate degree from California Institute in Integral Studies. I shortly after was credentialed as Registered Drama Therapist (RDT) through North American Drama Therapy Association (NADTA). This means I am specially trained and certified in action-oriented techniques that can get you out of your head and moving forward faster.Alongside my clinical practice, I am credentialed to supervise and train the next generation of creative arts therapists and independent Ohio MFTs. My approach is deeply collaborative, culturally humble, neurodivergent-affirming, and LGBTQIA+ queer-affirming
I work with individual adults and certain families who are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, sad, lonely, sensitive, anxious, or defeated. If you're feeling heavy by everything going on, or feeling frantic, or having conflict in your relationships or are just feeling lost in any way, I would love to see if I can help! I also work with family units going through transition or strain, such as conflict between a parent and their adult child, or supporting parents who are experiencing difficult things with their child or teen.
I have a lot of experience helping people through loss, whether it's a breakup, losing a job, or a loved one - including loss of a pet, which is a specialty of mine. I have special interest in supporting other therapists, and also community organizers and activists who are engaged in social justice work. Many of my clients are trans or NB, and others are gay, lesbian, or queer. Poly and kink affirming.
I offer telehealth services to clients in California, Idaho, Washington, or Virginia.
Most of my clients would describe me as an empath who is warm, caring, and non-judgmental. I often hear, that speaking with me is like speaking with a best friend. I utilize my education, experience, training and education to support you, and the situations/issues you face. I have an ecumenical spiritual belief system, which can be brought into session at your request. As a member of the LGBT+ community, being sober, and over coming clinical depression have only contributed to my therapeutic approach. I look forward to getting to know you, and working with you for the best possible outcome. Please contact me should you have issue with finding an available time to accommodate your schedule. I will do what I can to help you find a mutually agreed appointment.
I am a highly skilled therapist with a strong focus on trauma therapy, substance abuse, and mental health. You’re doing everything “right”—staying active, showing up for others, pushing through—but you’re still stuck in your head. You overthink everything. You’re constantly anxious, tense, and on edge. Maybe you feel like you’re always performing—for your team, your job, your family—and you’re tired of carrying it all.
I specialize in working with athletes and active adults who struggle with anxiety, overthinking, burnout, and people-pleasing. Together, we create a space where you can finally breathe, feel grounded, and build emotional strength to match your physical drive.
My approach combines CBT, mindfulness, somatic therapy, and solution-focused strategies through my signature T.H.R.I.V.E. Method. We’ll work together to untangle old patterns, reconnect with your body, and build clarity and confidence from the inside out.
If you’re ready to feel more present, powerful, and mentally strong, I’d be honored to support you.
I believe therapy works best when it feels real, collaborative, and even a little lighthearted at times. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I help teens and adults understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and actions — and how to shift them in a healthier direction. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you can explore, grow, and start feeling more like yourself again.
