Hi! I’m a Mexican-American LCSW who believes that therapy is something everyone can benefit from at some point because life happens! In my practice, I help children and teens navigate peer conflict, grief, anxiety, and depression, while also supporting adults and parents through stressful life transitions. My goal is to create a warm, comfortable space where you feel truly heard and understood. I am honored to be a safe, trusted person for my clients, and I would be happy to be that supportive guide for you on your journey.
Welcome! I'm Geneva, and I believe therapy should be a place where you feel genuinely supported, understood, and accepted. My approach combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and attachment theory to help clients better understand themselves, strengthen their relationships, and develop practical skills for everyday life.
I enjoy working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, and relationship challenges. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply ready for change, my goal is to help you build confidence, discover your strengths, and create meaningful progress at a pace that feels right for you.
As a youth, I recall many instances when I experienced intense anxiety, depression, even suicidal thoughts – but I did so in isolation, without adequate support. Mental health services were not available and not commonly accessed in my community. As a young woman I used dance and movement, and other forms of creative expression (such as writing and singing), as my means to manage emotions. I became a psychotherapist to ensure that I could be supportive to those in similar situations – to help support people in not feeling alone with the difficult aspects of life and relationships. No one should have to fight their mental health battles alone. The integration of somatic (body-focused) psychotherapy has allowed me to support others while giving them the gift that I have discovered through a life of movement – the gift of understanding the role of the body in allowing for healing. Through the use of the body in psychotherapy clients can learn how to find balance in their mind while finding peace in their emotional landscape.

I’m a licensed clinical social worker and Army veteran who’s passionate about helping people reconnect with their sense of purpose, strength, and authenticity. My background in depth psychology means I approach therapy with curiosity about both the conscious and unconscious parts of who we are through the stories, dreams, and emotions that shape our inner world. I aim to create a space where healing feels human and not clinical. You don’t have to have the right words; you just have to show up.
