Great to meet you!

Welcome! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Master Counselor, and a yoga instructor with 20 years of self-practice. Specializing in therapy for adults with dual diagnoses and multicultural backgrounds, I also have extensive experience working with children of different abilities. My expertise encompasses anxiety, trauma work, and family dynamics, providing a nurturing, multicultural space for our collaborative journey towards self-acceptance.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Dedicated to implementing a trauma-informed, person-centered, and mindfulness-based approach, I integrate a blend of therapeutic modalities including psychodynamic, attachment, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI) within a multicultural framework. This empowers individuals and families from diverse backgrounds to navigate their unique challenges with resilience and strength.

What you can expect from our first session

In our sessions, my hope is for you to experience unwavering support and genuine understanding. My goal is for you to leave feeling empowered and motivated, ready to face life’s challenges with confidence and resilience. I am dedicated to walking alongside you on your journey towards healing and personal growth, creating a safe, nurturing environment where you can freely explore your challenges and strengths.
