About Me

"Acceptance can transform but if you accept in order to transform, it is not acceptance. It is like loving. Love seeks no reward but when given freely comes back a hundredfold. He who loses his life, finds it. He who accepts, changes." - Marsha Linehan

I am a clinical social worker that specializes in working with adolescents and young adults. Clinical interests include but are not limited to adjustment issues, life transitions, anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, and trauma disorders. I believe that discovering more about oneself can lead to greater enrichment in a world that can often feel devoid of meaning. Therapy can be instrumental in exploring one's place in the world and cultivating a "life worth living."

I utilize an eclectic, client-centered approach that aims to meet each person where they are at while also recognizing the importance of growth and change. I pull from several modalities including CBT, DBT, focused mindfulness, and existentialism. I am certified in Trauma-Focused CBT and am trained in Brainspotting. I truly love learning and it's very important to me that I stay current in education and training opportunities within the field of social work.
