Academic degrees (Ed.S, M.A, M.Ed) that I obtained were in Counseling Psychology, Clinical Mental Health Counseling/ Substance Use Counseling. My professional credentials are LPC, NCC, CTMH, C-DBT and CCTP in supporting patients with co-occurring Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders using evidence-based clinical interventions such as CBT, DBT, REALITY THERAPY, MINDFULNESS-BASED INTERVENTION, POSITIVE PSYCHOLOGY, ACCEPTANCE COMMITMENT THERAPY, CLIENT-CENTERED THERAPY.

Working with patients in managing anger issues, anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, addictive behavior and stress cannot be the same as there are uniqueness in client's mental health issues. Also, integrating a sense of humor and we-ness in clinical sessions has proven to make my patients feel relaxed, better and accepted, as well as meeting everyone where they are. Patients that I work with are experiencing meaningful ways of life while making healthy decisions.
