Great to meet you!

I received an M.Ed. in counseling from University of Missouri. I spent my early years working through the school system with kids who were considered high risk, providing counseling and support for them and their families. Out of my passion to help kids with learning disabilities, I opened a cognitive skills learning center. Recently I worked with The Little School of Big Change, a program helping clients to create change in their lives by recognizing the nature of habitual thinking patterns

A bit about my approach to therapy

I work with adults who want to make changes in their lives. They may be stuck in habits, addictions, depression, anxiety, unhealthy relationships or unfulfilling work situations. The common thread is they are not living the life they want but rather are living from their limited programming and conditioning. Through understanding human psychological functioning and the deeper spiritual nature of being human, I help clients come back to their innate well-being.

What you can expect from our first session

I walk along side you on this journey of discovering your true self. I gently point you towards things that are helpful and expanding and point out things that are not helpful and contracting. I'm a guide that points you to your innate wisdom, your built in navigation system that leads you to the best expression of you. My greatest hope is that, through understanding how the human experience works, you can embrace being human without mental constraints and with the freedom to live fully.
