Great to meet you!

Hello, and welcome to my practice! My name is Teresa Arnold, and I a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with years of experience providing excellent healthcare to adults and adolescents across a broad range of conditions. My nursing background is in critical care, and I transitioned into psychiatry due to my experience with vulnerable mentally ill populations experiencing acute illness as a result of many years without adequate psychiatric care.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I offer comprehensive care to individuals and families dealing with both severe and less severe mental illnesses. To ensure accurate diagnoses, I begin with a thorough investigation. I then employ a range of resources, such as medications, psychotherapy, lab tests, and referrals, to provide the best possible treatment. My commitment to excellence drives me to be meticulous, persistent, and dedicated. I prioritize minimizing medication usage while emphasizing patient empowerment and self-care.

What you can expect from our first session

I aim for all my patients to feel empowered, well-informed, and hopeful after their initial visit. I create a welcoming environment and encourage questions and feedback to achieve this goal.
