Great to meet you!

It's difficult to be in this world. You want to be considerate and kind; you also want to fulfill your potential. Were you raised with a lot of "shoulds"? Were you told to control or ignore your feelings? Are there issues with anger-- yours or someone else's in your life? Finding those feelings, you can accept and love yourself. And that can change your life.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I work with anyone who needs help. I am finding that people find the combination of acceptance, safety, curiosity, and support that I provide helps them change how they feel about themselves and the world around them. This seems to be especially true for men who’ve been raised to ignore or disregard their feelings. I'm inspired by my clients’ courage, by their willingness to be vulnerable and to consider changing their thoughts feelings and actions.

What you can expect from our first session

You are welcome here. You tell your truth from your point of view and I hear you. In this room, you are accepted. We are two people collaborating to look at how things are in your life, and how to build hope for a better life for you. Clients tell me "this works. I feel more like my real self now."
