Great to meet you!

I’m Stacey, a California licensed marriage and family therapist based in San Francisco. I have seven years of counseling experience, and during that time- I’ve had the chance to work with children, adolescents, and adults from many backgrounds in various clinical settings. In my practice, I specialize in supporting adults, people of color, and immigrants who are dealing with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and relationship issues.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I use Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help others accept what can’t be change, to change what’s within their control, and to commit to act based on their personal values to create meaningful changes. During our time together, I make it a point to see and affirm your strengths to emphasize there is more to your humanity than your current problems.

What you can expect from our first session

You can expect to feel heard, validated, understood, and accepted as you are right now in this world. To that end, it’s my aim to understand and clarify your reasons for seeking therapy and to get a sense of what you want to get out of our time together. Time is incredibly valuable, so as much as possible- I want to ensure you find therapy useful and worthwhile.
