PTSD and Trauma

Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Board-Approved Supervisor, as well as a Registered Play Therapist with over twelve years of experience providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults. My areas of specialty include treating complex trauma, depression, anxiety, helping clients cope with self-injurious thoughts and behaviors, and suicidal ideation. I enjoy working with families to navigate conflict, establish healthy communication, and improve relationships.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Together we will work to develop mutually agreed upon treatment goals and address problem areas with the most appropriate interventions. Therapeutic work can often be a difficult journey but with support, direction, and encouragement it is one that can be quite rewarding in the end. I look forward to assisting you throughout your process toward healing and a better sense of well-being

What you can expect from our first session

I often utilize a wide variety of therapeutic approaches to treat symptoms of PTSD and trauma, depression and anxiety, or the effects of relational difficulties among other issues. I have extensive knowledge and experience working with clients who have experienced complex trauma, abuse and neglect, combat veterans, survivors of military sexual assault, as well as those involved with the legal system (criminal, civil, and family court cases) and TDFPS.
