Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker from NYC with a focus on the mental health of young people and adults. Leading up to my licensure, I worked with college students, and youth experiencing depression and anxiety, particularly social anxiety, low self-esteem, and disconnection/loneliness. Therapy is a supportive partnership, where being seen and heard, makes way for self-discovery and healing.

A bit about my approach to therapy

In our therapeutic work, my approach is collaborative and humanistic. I tune into the relationship we form and co-create to build one of trust and safety. Therapy may integrate models such as compassion-focused therapy, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, and narrative therapy. We may explore the mind-body relationship as well as examine systemic contexts and larger social/cultural constructs.

What you can expect from our first session

Those I work with may be looking to deepen self-awareness and engage in self-reflection - whether for personal growth, to create meaning, or to shift inner narratives. In our sessions, we examine your story with care and curiosity to identify patterns and beliefs that uphold your worldview. I believe in building and identifying our inner resources and tuning to our values and body for guidance. I also highlight the power of safe, and consistent relationships with others in community.
