My counseling approach is collaborative and client centered, primarily driven by the goals that my clients bring for therapy. I believe in the importance of honoring mind, body, and spirit in the healing process. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming and seek to provide a safe space for all my clients. I have over 15 years of experience as a mental health professional and have worked in a variety of settings, in a variety of roles.

I am primarily utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients reduce suffering and better manage unwanted thoughts and feelings. I provide trauma informed treatment, and utilize skills/techniques from Cognitive Behavioral therapy as well as providing DBT informed therapy. I specialize in depression, anxiety, grief/loss, life transitions, and PTSD.

My goal for my clients is to be more psychologically flexible and to learn the skills needed for them to live a values-driven life. It is my hope that these skills will be useful throughout the life of the client, even when they are no longer actively in therapy.
