Great to meet you!

I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who believes that mental healthcare should be provided with understanding of, and respect for the beliefs and values of each individual patient. I have worked in the medical field since 2004 as a nurses' aide, a medication aide, a Registered Nurse, and now, as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I focus on the psychological, social and cultural needs of my patients as we work collaboratively to formulate a treatment plan. I value providing empathetic, kind, and culturally sensitive care, and medication management if indicated. I like to meet each patient where they are in their journey, and play my part towards reaching mutually formulated goals.

What you can expect from our first session

I get it, life can be quite overwhelming sometimes. It takes a lot of courage to seek help, and since you are here, I applaud you for taking the first step towards keeping hope alive. I am committed to creating a no-judgement zone, while facilitating your healing and ultimately, improving your mental wellness and being.
