Are you tired of feeling unhappy and ready for change? I work with individuals impacted by trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction, self-esteem and relationship issues. I have a love for helping others and use a variety of therapeutic modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Solution Focused therapy. I also specialize in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR). My style is warm, interactive, and genuine.
A bit about my approach to therapy
Every person is unique, and so my approach is customized to the person. We may start out with talk therapy and then you find out through a float back in history that you have abuse, trauma, or fear that you would like to address through EMDR. Interested in EMDR? You must have a large enough screen and at least an hour committed to the session. I have successfully conducted EMDR via video and highly encourage it if you are looking for a different yet effective way of addressing challenges.
What you can expect from our first session
The therapeutic relationship is instrumental in your healing. My practice begins with a phone consultation. If it is determined to be a good fit, we move on to a scheduled intake assessment, establish a baseline, and create a therapeutic plan. Therapy is interactive, structured, and yet flexible enough for you to freely express yourself in your session. When you are ready, I am a short phone call away.
