Great to meet you!

"I need help." "I need to change." "I don't know...? These have all been common words spoken by my clients over the past 20 years. I am here to reassure you that I have helped others make small change become lasting change.

One recent client wrote, "I had some trepidation about entering this environment, but Rick has made it completely comfortable and it has been a wonderful experience."

A bit about my approach to therapy

Each year I help over 100 clients achieve new goals towards their mental health while attending brief, solution-oriented therapy. My goal has been not to offer counseling services that will be a crutch for years, but rather short-term and effective. To be someone who can motivate and inspire you and your family. I have now returned following brain tumor surgery with a reason and purpose - to help more clients not only find their change but to actually change.

What you can expect from our first session

The Initial Session is more getting to know you and the situation than true "therapy." Typically, we don't create goals or "mile markers" in the first session unless needed. By the second, third, and fourth sessions we will have a direction of change. Follow up sessions can be set once a week or even once a month (we can talk about that later).

More times are available Monday - Friday until 9pm than what is shown. Please text for current schedule.
