Great to meet you!

Lovely to meet you here on Headway! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Louisville, CO. I have worked with children and families for over 15 years in a variety of environments. I have a masters of arts degree in counseling and a masters of arts degree in education, specializing in early childhood education. I work with parents and families, in conjunction with play therapy for children ages 3-10. I work with adults also!

A bit about my approach to therapy

I am a current student of Synergetic Play Therapy and use this modality exclusively with children ages 3-10. When working with children, I work closely with parents and caregivers to build a language around how to understanding brain and nervous system development, defining co-regulation, and how to utilize communication frameworks that fit with each unique family system. My work with adult clients focuses on healing and understanding their own childhoods to create positive change.

What you can expect from our first session

When I work with clients, my goal is provide a place and space for their experience of the world to be honored, seen, and understood. I strive to provide reflection prompts and tools to increase the clients ability to integrate their experiences with greater compassion and empathy. My goal is empowering clients to be connected to themselves, confident in their decision, and know their values no matter what life experience presents itself.
