Great to meet you!

Sometimes, as we go through stages of life, we reflect and wonder why there are repeating scenarios, why we struggle to change only to find similar relationships, and our efforts to change aren't working. I'll help you understand how dynamics in your relationships have influenced your life choices. I place emphasis on the relationships that we have in our lives...in particular the relationships that stem from families with dysfunctions, such as addiction, ACOA and co-dependency.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I'd like to help you find some relief, begin to feel more like yourself, and feel restored. I have roughly 9 years of experience in substance use treatment (family included) and 5 years in mental health.

What you can expect from our first session

I can teach you about your emotions and help you learn ways to manage them. You will gain insight into why you feel how you do. This can help you in all aspects of your life, even how you feel about your past. I will be dedicated to you by listening and offering interactive feedback. My experience in short term therapy settings can be an asset to help you prioritize and make a plan for the issues you want to work on. The work we do will be a collaboration between client and therapist.
