Great to meet you!

I am a bilingual, Spanish speaking, Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of California. I have 8 years of clinical experience treating children, at-risk adolescents, adults and families in various settings such as: school-based (k-12), tele health, and private practice. I am a proud alumnus of San Jose State University, where I earned both of my Social Work degrees (Bachelor's of Arts, 2002; Master's of Social Worker, 2007).

A bit about my approach to therapy

I am passionate about helping others and I work towards empowering others, so they are able to identify their strengths and capabilities. I provide reflective listening and use various therapeutic modalities to help bring clarity and insight (psychodynamic, strengths-based, motivational interviewing).

What you can expect from our first session

I provide a safe and confidential environment and approach therapy with flexibility based on a client's individual needs. My overall objective within the therapeutic process is to help individuals feel supported, heard and validated. Working together to develop a treatment plan with obtainable goals that result in a healthy and fulfilling life is also part of my objective.
