My goal is to help you be your best self and live your best life. I have over 14 yrs experience providing individual and group psychotherapy in outpatient clinics, schools, and skilled nursing facilities. I have a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Purdue University and a Masters Degree in Social Work with a concentration in Clinical Counseling and Aging from the University of Albany. Previous experience in human services as well as environmental protection and wildlife law enforcement.

I provide a trauma-informed and if needed a trauma-focused approach, recognizing that most often the diagnoses we use simply provide a label for how life experiences have effected us. I employ a holistic, integrative, humanistic, psychodynamic approach--individualized to each person according to their needs, goals, and concerns. I foster a non-judgmental, nurturing, collaborative relationship in therapy that is intended to help people foster that elsewhere in their lives and relationships.

We collaboratively explore your thoughts, emotions, experiences to better understand you, your therapy needs & goals, what you wish to change. Since we develop in the context of our life experiences, it is important for us to explore your history. I help people understand themselves and others better, empowering them to feel and do better in life and in their relationships with self and others.
