Great to meet you!

All potential clients will first schedule a consultation at: https://parksandpowers.as.me/. Intake and further sessions will also be booked through our Acuity online scheduling. We do not use Headway's phone consultation and booking widget to the right of this profile.

My specialty is helping BIPOC and first-generation adults who are looking to make meaningful recovery and growth from trauma, ADHD, anxiety, personal growth, and eating disorders/ body image issues.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I use a holistic and culturally-affirming approach that honors the whole-person. I offer a variety of tools that are tailored to your specific needs. I am passionate in providing simplified education so you understand what you're going through and how to create lasting change. I have training in a variety of interventions including but not limited to: Mind/Body (Somatic) Healing, Self-Compassion and Mindfulness, Trauma-Resiliency Model, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

What you can expect from our first session

You can expect for your voice to be heard in a warm, caring, and non-judgmental space. My priority is to build a therapeutic partnership where you feel comfortable and can show up authentically. I want to understand what you want out of therapy and create goals to help you get there. I am equally interested in getting to know you as a person and how we can maximize your strengths to support your journey. Together, we will find which style of therapy and strategies will benefit you the most.
