Great to meet you!

Schedule a consultation and sessions at: https://parksandpowers.as.me/. Hello! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with over a decade of experience as a mental health professional. My passion comes from my personal experience as a first-generation Mexican-American woman. I work with adults looking to make meaningful recovery and growth. My specialty is helping BIPOC and first-generation women with trauma, ADHD, anxiety, personal growth, and eating disorders/ body image issues.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I use a holistic and culturally-affirming approach that honors the whole-person. I offer a variety of tools that are tailored to your specific needs. I am passionate in providing simplified education so you understand what you're going through and how to create lasting change. I have training in a variety of interventions including but not limited to: Mind/Body (Somatic) Healing, Self-Compassion and Mindfulness, Trauma-Resiliency Model, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

What you can expect from our first session

You can expect for your voice to be heard in a warm, caring, and non-judgmental space. My priority is to build a therapeutic partnership where you feel comfortable and can show up authentically. I want to understand what you want out of therapy and create goals to help you get there. I am equally interested in getting to know you as a person and how we can maximize your strengths to support your journey. Together, we will find which style of therapy and strategies will benefit you the most.
