Great to meet you!

I am a board certified music therapist and licensed creative arts therapist. As a music therapist, I believe in connecting and building relationships through active engagement in music experiences, meeting each person where they are. Music experiences can look different for each person, and we will explore them together based on your interests and needs. Some examples include instrumental or vocal improvisation, songwriting, singing, lyric analysis, and focused listening.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Over 15+ years of clinical practice, I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults of varying abilities and needs, including anxiety, depression, and a variety of emotional and behavioral challenges. I have extensive experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and neuro-diverse conditions. Together in music experiences, we will work towards your goals.

What you can expect from our first session

Engagement in music experiences can provide a means for expression that can be difficult for words alone. Through this process, you will have opportunities for reflection and exploring your strengths. I work in a compassionate, person-centered way, always with a focus on you. Previous music experience is not necessary.
