Great to meet you!

Feeling overwhelmed, stuck, trapped? Want to move forward, away or beyond but don't know how? Therapy helps us gain clarity about ourselves and our circumstances, connects us to our strengths, and clears a path to achieving goals and living our best lives. Through individual therapy* I help clients overcome depression, manage anxiety, build confidence, move through grief and major events, improve relationships, and reduce or eliminate unwanted habits. *Couples therapy not offered at this time.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I take a holistic approach that blends a variety of cognitive behavioral, client-centered and trauma-informed techniques, and is tailored to you and your specific needs and issues. I have extensive experience with substance use disorder treatment, intimate partner violence and trauma recovery, sexual health and gender identity. I work closely with the LGBTQ+ and HIV communities. Clients have described me as patient, centered, nonjudgmental, intuitive, sincere, and honest.

What you can expect from our first session

Sessions are designed to review and build upon progress and offer suggestions for ongoing change. Some feel like baby steps while others may seem like huge leaps. Life happens, but as we move through our sessions, it is my job to maintain a continuous thread and keep an eye on your goals for treatment.
