Great to meet you!

Please contact me at (352) 354-2144‬ or melissa@seekingbalance.me with questions/concerns.

Are you distracted and stuck, with thoughts that go in a circle but never get anywhere? Do you notice that you've lost interest in things you used to enjoy? Or are you having difficulty in relationships, or trouble feeling good about yourself despite your accomplishments? Since 2008, I've worked with those affected by depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, relationship difficulties, and life adjustments.

A bit about my approach to therapy

We all need someone who we can trust and talk to about difficult emotions, thoughts, relationships, and situations we are facing. Every session starts with a foundation of empathy, respect, and unconditional positive regard. I am passionate about working with my clients from a non-judgmental position to encourage emotional healing and growth.

I am LGBTQ+ affirming, neurodiversity affirming, and sex positive.

What you can expect from our first session

We will work collaboratively during session to create a plan of small, manageable steps for you to work on throughout the week to improve your mood and to reduce depression, anxiety, inattention, and maladaptive thoughts and behaviors.

That you're choosing today to invest in yourself is a powerful first step toward feeling the way you deserve to feel. Please reach out to discuss your needs and goals, and begin your journey to improved life balance and wellness. I look forward to meeting you!
