Great to meet you!

My name is Melissa and I am passionate about people. I believe in the human spirit of resilience and that with just a little hope, great changes can come. If you are tired of feeling the same way day after day, struggling with the same problem but in different contexts, I am here to help.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I work to help you identify your goals, the roadblocks to your goals and help you on the path to achieving those goals. Every time I see my clients, I want them to leave with a tool to put to work in their lives. I believe that new skills are only as good as they are practiced, so homework is an important part of doing therapy with me. I only practice using researched backed methods because I believe in working with intention.

What you can expect from our first session

My goal is to help you reach yours. In order to do that I create a safe space for my clients to be able to process difficult thoughts and feelings. I want for my clients to feel confident that their struggles, their stories, their pain and frustrations, none of it is too big to work through. Where there is hope, there is help.
