Maybe you thought getting pregnant would be magical... and then struggled with infertility and loss. Or maybe you thought the same about pregnancy, until anxiety almost crushed you. And then when you think you're ahead of the game and expecting postpartum to be hard, you're left feeling unrecognizable.

If you are, you're not alone. I've been all of these women. It is what has driven my passion to work in maternal mental health as a licensed clinical social worker.

My approach to therapy is client-driven. I believe treatment must be individualized and in order to do that, I've studied and practiced to become highly trained in a variety of techniques. These include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Functional Family Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Perinatal Mood Disorders, Person-Centered Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Many of my clients come to me feeling stressed, anxious, wrung out, overwhelmed, or just empty. Some feel crushed by the expectations of those around them or their own expectations. These experiences can be emotionally draining and I get it! In my experience, I found that it was hard to find anyone to relate. As a clinician, I work hard so each client comes away from sessions feeling seen, empowered, and hopeful about the future.
