Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Meghan! I have my Masters of Science in Social Work from the University of Tennessee and hold a certificate in Veterinary Social Work. I have experience in hospital social work, working at a shelter for the homeless, with juvenile probation, and most recently working with children who have been abused and/or neglected and their non-offending caregivers. I specialize in working with trauma, grief, and loss.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I pull from various trainings and evidence based practices to guide the suggestions I make but really lean into the relationship we build to inform our work together as we create goals and strategies to help you live your best life. I focus on coming from a trauma informed, strengths based lens that keeps you in control as we partner together to figure out what works best for you.

What you can expect from our first session

I like to create a warm and welcoming environment where we can work together to create goals and decide how to move forward. Therapy can be hard work, and I like to incorporate humor and fun whenever possible. If there isn't a time on my calendar that works for you, please reach out and we'll figure it out!
