Megan Smucker Raymond has over 15 years of experience in community-based social work and psychotherapy. She has specialized training in the Gottman Method, sex therapy, and perinatal mental health. Megan is a licensed clinical social worker in New York State and the owner and lead clinician of Amari Psychotherapy. She is also a supervisor at a mental health clinic in Brooklyn, board member for Postpartum Support International (PSI)-NY chapter, and mother of two.

Amari Psychotherapy is dedicated to helping individuals and couples face the complex emotional and psychological challenges associated with fertility, pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. I follow a humanistic, client-led approach with an emphasis on treating symptoms and contributing factors from both a micro and systemic lens. Couples/relationship work is inspired by the Gottman Method and EFT.

Clients are provided with a safe, non-judgmental space to explore their feelings and receive the support and guidance needed to thrive, not just survive on autopilot.
