My name is Mary Vaughan, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor living in Florida. I can counsel with all Flordians.

As a seasoned therapist of 35+ years, many of my clients have told me that I have helped them change their lives and have given them hope and emotional strength they never knew they could have. My clients have told me that I seem to understand just what questions to ask . At these times the client and I can work together to help overcome some serious life challenges. .

I am an adult therapist.. I Have been able to help my clients who are struggling with depression, anxiety, stress, divorce, PTSD, and domestic violence. I have worked with many clients who, after a while, begin to trust me and my and my approach. I use the cognitive behavioral approach and since I have been in the bussiness for a long time I use just plain common sense in addition to the cognitive approach.

Since I have been in the mental health business (35 years), We ( the client and myself) will be forming a treatment plan that is specifically designed for them. At the same time I inform the client that therapy is hard work. However, they should experience emotional growth in the process.

Getting to know each other takes some time but a good therapist can find ways to help the client grow in their self-worth by giving the client individual guidance
