Hi there! My name is Marissa and I am a licensed professional counselor. I have experience working with children, teens and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues and trauma recovery in a variety of settings - in-home, office, and in the community.

I hold a master's degree in counseling along with graduate certificates in child and family therapy and trauma treatment. My primary focus is on attachment, relationships and building awareness of emotional experiences.

I approach therapy from a person-centered lens, focusing on your strengths and empowering you to make choices that can help you grow, rather than focusing on what is "wrong." I am passionate about focusing on relationships and understanding your emotions.

I believe forming a strong therapist-client relationship is the foundation for our work together. I like to get to know my clients holistically and work on goals together.
