I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with experience in helping others with complex trauma, substance abuse, dual diagnosis, anger management, depression, anxiety, unresolved grief, bereavement, Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia and Schizoaffective Disorder, Panic Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Phobias, Social Anxiety, OCD, PTSD, Acute Stress Disorder, life stressors, and a variety of other mental health needs. I have a Master’s in Counseling/Community Psychology with a certification in Forensic Mental Health. I am a certified anger management specialist from the National Anger Management Association. I am a provider for the Impaired Driving Offender through OASAS. My work experience includes mobile crisis, psychiatric Emergency Room, and incarcerated adults.
My goal as a therapist is to meet people where they are at, and together figure out their needs and how to obtain a more fulfilling quality of life. I mainly do this through a combination of Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy.
