Great to meet you!

Hi there! Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me as a therapist! I graduated with my Masters of Social Work from Eastern Washington University in 2008 and I have been licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2011.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I enjoy learning new skills and techniques to support those I work with. Some of the tools and techniques I have received training in include cognitive behavior therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavior therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, narrative therapy, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness. I'm also currently finishing up training in EMDR and I am excited to offer that modality! My yoga instructor and integrative nutrition health coach training are also integrated into sessions.

What you can expect from our first session

Even as a therapist, I am learning and growing just like you! I think I learn just as much from those I work with as they learn from me! I believe you are the expert of your own life. I do not have all the answers. However, I would be honored to journey with you and help you find your own. I have been described as quiet, calm, and gentle. I aim to provide a safe space to share, explore, and heal. I love offering small practices such as breathing exercises, mindfulness exercises, or even recipes!
