Great to meet you!

I believe that you are the expert on your story and that you have many strengths to navigate life's current challenges.

In 2002, I graduated from Marshall University Graduate College with a master's degree in counseling. Now as a licensed professional counselor (LPC), I bring over 20 years of diverse professional work experience. I am credentialed as a Master Addiction Counselor since 2005 and a Certified Mindfulness and Meditation Teacher.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I specialize in working with clients using a strengths based mindset with a preference for looking at our thoughts, how they matter, and influence our actions.

My focus is to identify the barriers that are in your way of becoming your best self. Sometimes those barriers are our unhelpful thinking patterns which become a habit over time. I will work with you to rewrite those old scripts that are not serving you with true accounts of your ability and life.

What you can expect from our first session

Building community in a safe place to reveal ourselves is a goal of therapy. Taking this step to sign up for therapy is courageous and you are well on your way. I look forward to walking alongside you on this journey.

I offer virtual therapy with mostly evening and weekend appointments. I have some limited availability in the daytime during weekdays.
