Great to meet you!

Friends would say I have been a therapist my entire life; however, I became an "official" therapist when I received my clinical social work license in 2016. I received my MSW from East Carolina University. I have extensive experience in treating adults through telehealth therapy. I specialize in treating individuals experiencing symptoms of anxiety, trauma, depression, and navigating life transitions.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I offer a personalized therapy experience crafted to guide individuals on their unique journey towards mental and emotional well-being. I provide a safe and empathetic space for individuals seeking personal growth and healing. I utilize evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and eye movement desensitization reprocessing (EMDR) to personalize your treatment and address your specific needs and goals.

What you can expect from our first session

Personal life experience led me to the field of social work and I cannot imagine doing anything else. I love walking alongside people, hearing their stories, nudging them to explore how those stories can contribute to them experiencing life to the fullest, and bearing witness to the positive changes that therapy can provide for them.
