Great to meet you!

I have 22 years of counseling experience. My approach is rooted in radical inclusivity. I honor and celebrate the diversity of the human experience. I am anti-racist, body positive, anti-oppressive, neurodivergent affirming, and LGBTQ+ identified. My style is warm and inviting.

I also have 4 kids and two dogs. You can also follow me on Youtube under Pride Therapy where I offer free educational videos.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Each client I meet is very unique. There is no "one size fits all" when it comes to solutions to peoples' problems. You can expect me to listen to your story and offer hope. Your life CAN get better and you can find meaning and purpose despite what you have been through.

I focus on several different interventions, depending on the client. I am trained in DBT, EMDR, MBSR, Motivational Interviewing, CBT, Acceptance And Commitment therapy, and Gottman Method.

What you can expect from our first session

My clients get better and eventually don't need therapy. That's good news. You can expect me to do a lot of listening so that I can get a full understanding of your perspective of your lived experience. From there, I can offer various interventions based on my 20 years of counseling experience.
