Great to meet you!

Welcome! I am glad you are willing to take this step to start something new. Chances are the hardest part of treatment is what you experienced to get here. I see counseling as a unique opportunity to uncover meaning in life and learn skills to manage uncomfortable feelings. Have you tried to handle your stress, depression or anger on your own and are spinning your tires? Is postpartum/parenthood not what you expected? Are you numb from your trauma? I am here to partner with you.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach is non-judgmental and integrated. I am trained in CBT, EMDR and DBT- informed, mindfulness-based therapies and often use an existential approach to help clients explore purpose and connection. I specialize in anxiety reduction, trauma, and depression. I also have a masters in religion and can provide faith based counseling if that interests you.

What you can expect from our first session

Starting therapy can be intimidating and I am no stranger to this process. As a person in long-term recovery, I know what it's like to start over and find purpose. I aim to draw from your own strengths and equip you with skills to better manage your uncomfortable emotions and communicate effectively.
