Great to meet you!

It is one of my core beliefs that every person is the expert on their own life and experiences. As a therapist, I aim to be a witness to your journey and a source of feedback, clarity, and support. Through evidence-based techniques and compassionate guidance, I help clients develop coping skills, improve self-awareness, and cultivate resilience. I have a background in schools and special education, a Bachelors degree in Psychology and Master of Social Work with a concentration in Mental Health.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I am an LGBTQIA+ and neurodiversity-affirming therapist. I have extensive training and experience working with all kinds of disabilities & within the Gifted and Talented (GT) community, including the overlap of these labels, commonly known as Twice Exceptional or 2E. I also specialize in working with those impacted by mood disorders, depression & anxiety, self-harm behaviors & self-injury, suicidal ideation, & trauma.

What you can expect from our first session

My therapeutic approach is collaborative, client-centered, and strengths-based. I believe in honoring the unique strengths and perspectives of each individual while providing empathetic support and evidence-based interventions to facilitate healing and personal growth. I aim to assist clients in discovering the path they’d like to take towards a future they want to build, in pursuit of “a life worth living,” and then begin taking steps in that direction.
