Pleasure to meet you, I am Jose Diaz, a licensed professional counselor. For over 16 years I have been privilege to be a part of many individuals mental health journey ranging from crisis inpatient settings, to partial hospitalization programs that help further stability individuals with severe mental illness, to outpatient individual adult therapy settings. Anxiety, depression and trauma are among specialties we can focus on healing efforts on.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My counseling style combines evidenced-based practices such as Cognitive-behavioral therapy Behavior therapy, Client-centered therapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP),motivational interviewing and trauma informed care.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients over time have taught me that they want to understand themselves better, they want to understand how their challenges came to be their challenges and how to use that understanding to remove those challenges from their lives and live relieved. In our work, we will spend time processing what your mental and emotional experience has been, which tell us how it all exist, then develop specific approaches for your unique needs.
