Dr. John has almost thirty years experience in ministry; Fifteen years in military chaplaincy, in both Active Duty and Reserves, including combat tour of duty in Iraq; He holds a Masters of Arts in Theological Studies, a Masters of Divinity, specializing in Pastoral Counseling, and a Doctor of Ministry in Marriage and Family Counseling. John & Terri have been married 28+ years and have five children.

My approach is first from the perspective that every human is made in the Image of God and is worthy of honor and respect because of that. Every interaction with clients should make them feel honored and respected. I approach counseling as not something I do TO clients, but something that I do WITH clients. Every client has the right to self determination.

Hope and Help. From the very first session, I work hard with each client so that I work myself out of a job with them. I strive to get every client to the point that they say, "I'll take it from here."
