Great to meet you!

Welcome! I go by the nickname, Jay. I'm a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with 10+ yrs of experience in diverse settings. I believe in our natural strength and that we all need help sometimes. I will listen, support, and provide a trusted space for you to explore your feelings and concerns. I will help untangle what feels messy. I specialize in trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, military/veteran stress, LGBTQIA+, grief, attachment concerns, & family / relationships issues.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is warm, open, honest, and integrative. I intentionally combine psychotherapy approaches with research based and creative strategies to customize treatment to your needs. I have specialized training in trauma & gender affirming care, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for PTSD, CBT, & DBT. I'm authorized under PSYPACT to provide telepsychotherapy to clients in participating states.

What you can expect from our first session

It's tough to reach out. I admire you leaning into this process today. I understand that what comes after this step can feel overwhelming. Please know I welcome all questions, seek to collaborate on your care, and work at a pace that suits you. Together, we will explore your life patterns, their origins, their current impact, and if they would benefit from healing or change perspectives. I look forward to hearing from you.
