Great to meet you!

Anxiety causes stress on your mind and body. You can experience chronic worry, fear and bodily sensations such as headache, chest tightening, dizziness, short of breath, stomachaches and heart palpitations. I specialize in treating anxiety so that people can find relief and build their life in a meaningful way. Women in early-mid adulthood face a unique set of challenges in their career, partners, friendships, and home life. I help women sort through the stress anxiety to find clarity and calm.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I also specialize in all things motherhood. The challenges of identity, roles shifting, work, household, children and a social life can be overwhelming. Infertility, miscarriage, pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and being a mother all leads to hormonal shifts, trauma, and changes that can cause depression, anxiety and intrusive thoughts. It is a normal reaction to what you have been through but none the less, distressing. You don't need to feel alone with your thoughts.

What you can expect from our first session

I give clients tips and tools to help them manage their difficult feelings throughout the week and to work on long term rewiring of their brain to help get them long term results. I teach clients how their brains and body work to help understand their symptoms, why they feel this way and how to rewire their brains to feel more calm, connected and present in their daily life so they can focus on the things that they value. I hope you can leave our sessions feeling lighter.
