A bit about my approach to therapy

She has worked in a variety of settings and populations, including private practice, community mental health, hospital systems, and even the penitentiary systems. She has also worked extensively with children, adolescents, families, and parents. Although Dr. Bercuson works only with adults now, her past experiences have allowed her to hone her ability to work creatively and flexibly, meeting individuals where they are at with respect, openness, and genuine care.

What you can expect from our first session

Dr. Bercuson’s main goals for her patients include improving their quality of life by reducing symptoms of anxiety and depression, and increasing resiliency and the ability to cope effectively with challenges as they arise. She believes great progress and growth can be seen, resulting in long-lasting change. She has excelled in her practice because she is passionate about helping her patients, and provides a safe and non-judgmental space for them to explore their thoughts and feelings.
