Great to meet you!

As a second generation Korean-American, I specialize in helping Asian-American professionals navigate the unique challenges that arise from having to bridge two different and distinct cultures. I have extensive experience in treating depression, anxiety, self-esteem, and relationship issues. It is my privilege and joy to work with clients and help them discover what is blocking them from the happiness that is their natural birthright.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I offer practical advice and skills that I have used myself and that have helped make my life better. I do not talk theoretically, but rather from personal experience. The question is, are you willing to implement what you learn in therapy? That's the key difference between the people who benefit and the people who do not.

What you can expect from our first session

The first session together is different from other sessions. I will talk to you a little about how therapy works and what you can expect. We will then discuss what's going on in your life that's bringing you in to therapy. After that, I'll ask some additional questions so that I have a broader picture of what needs to be addressed in treatment together.
