Dr. Erin Blasdel-Gebelin

As a licensed clinical psychologist for over a decade, I believe that receiving mental health treatment is as important as getting good medical care. Clients often appreciate having a non-judgmental place to safely explore their thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and experiences. They may want to arrive at new understandings so that they are able to have healthier experiences in the future. For individuals who have busy lives or may feel more comfortable through video platforms, teletherapy is a great option. I am available to provide teletherapy services to individuals, couples, and groups. Some evening hours are currently available.

I collaborate with clients to explore goals and develop individualized plans. I rely upon CBT, MI, solution-focused, and/or time-limited dynamic psychotherapy approaches. Areas of professional focus include providing care to clients in group therapy, married/engaged couples, individuals who are grieving losses through death or divorce, and individuals who struggle with addictions. Please reach out if your family wishes for an intervention with a loved one who is struggling with an addiction. I can competently provide supportive counseling services to the entire family unit.

If you are interested in being considered for group treatment with me, I do require a 45-60 minute individual session to assess for appropriateness and to go over group expectations. I will also provide an overview of the group(s) during the individual session. Groups that I plan on facilitating include the following: Anger Management, Early Recovery/Relapse Prevention for Substance Use Disorders, Anxiety Management, Depression Management, and Spousal Bereavement.

During our time together, it is my hope that you will find the therapeutic space - YOUR space - to be very safe and non-judgmental.
